WORLD AIDS DAY is dedicated to create awareness of the HIV/AIDS in the minds of the people all over the world on 1st of December every year. At the theme “LET COMMUNITIES LEAD”, Department of public health dentistry, Navodaya dental college, organized a rally in collaboration with District Health Office of Raichur. The rally was inaugurated by district judge and CEO of Raichur at DC office around 9.00am. The rally covered all the important places like Basaweshwara circle, Gandhi chowk, Mahaveer circle, Theen khandil circle and ended up in DHO office at 12.00 noon and around 100 students of our college participated in the rally. The students of Navodaya Dental College performed the  role play regarding the awareness of AIDS/HIV at DHO OFFICE.  Dr. Girish katti Principal NDC, Dr. Suresh Babu A M ,Prof. & Head ,dept of PHD ,Dr.Zaheer Ahmed, Proffesor, ,Dr.Somanath Reddy, Reader, Dr.Nasi Ismail , Assistant Professor, along with interns and final year students attended the rally. The rally was ended at 12noon with snacks.
