On the occation of World No Tobacco Day “Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, conducted oral screening and awareness camp at Vidyanidhi PU college,Raichur on 31/05/2024. Awareness talk was given on Tobacco usage and ill effects of tobacco to the College Students by Dr. Vajendra Joshi, HOD and Dr. Kiran Kumar K.R. Professor, Dept of Oral Medicine and Radiology .An Oral Screening Camp was conducted for the Detection of Oral Mucosal Changes and general Dental Check up was done for 150 students. Lung status was estimated by the use of 'CO' Breath Smoke Lyzer by detecting the Carbon monoxide levels. This was helpul for the students to know about the ill effects of tobacco usage and to create awareness of oral health issues among them
