The programme was presided by Dr. Girish Katti, Principal Navodaya Dental College Raichur, and Dr. Suresh Babu AM Head of the Department along with other staff members from the department of Public Health Dentistry in A V Hall of Central library.The programme started at around 10.30 am with inauguration ceremony.
The welcome speech was given by Dr.Suresh Babu AM, Dr.Somanath Reddy Introduced the Speaker, a brief remark was given by the Chief Guest Dr.Girish Katti, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.Zaheer Ahmed, followed by National Anthem and a short tea break.
The speaker has enlightened participants (Faculty, PG Students and UG students) of Navodaya Dental College regarding “BASICS OF RESEARCH METHODOLOGY”. The program consisted of 3 sessions, lecturer 1-Introduction to Research Methodology, lecture 2- Basics of Research Study Design, and lecture 3-Descriptive Biostatistics.
Dr. Suresh Babu A.M, Head of the department had concluded the programme. All the registeredparticipants were awarded online certificate with 6 CDE points.
