The government of India decided to celebrate the75th independence of India with tribute to people instrumental in bringing India thus far in its journey. On the ocaasion of 75^TH year of Independence of India, Department of Public Health Dentistry and NSS Unit of Navodaya Dental College and Hospital conducted 1 month long “Oral Health For Rural People” camp by organizing free rural dental camps from 15-08-2022 to 14-09-22022 in the villages around Raichur. A total of 20 camps were conducted in different villages around Raichur city with a vision to meet the oral health needs and to deliver a better oral health care to the people. Patients in needs of dental treatments were referred to dental college for treatments. Concession for oral checkup and few treatments were given to camp patients. A total of  4398 individuals were screened and 1855 were referred to further treatment in our college
