Department Of Conservative Dentistry

Dental caries is most prevalent disease in human population in India. If untreated it may lead to painful conditions like pulpitis, periapical abscess etc.The treatment includes simple procedures like restoration of carious tooth to the more complex procedures like root canal therapy and associated surgical procedures like Apicectomy, Hemisection etc. thus alleviating the symptoms and at the same time restoring the normal form and function of the tooth.To provide such treatments one should have necessary knowledge and skill.We the department of Conservative dentistry and Endodontics, train students to diagnose conditions like Dental caries, pulpal problems, tooth discoloration etc., and to carry out various procedures to treat them.
