On 19th of December, 2022, a webinar on the topic – Writing for Research Grants , was hosted by Navodaya Dental College, Raichur. Chief patron of the program was Mr. S.R. Reddy, Hon’ble Chairman, NET. Dr. T. Srinivas, Registrar NET was the chief guest for the webinar. The program was presided by Dr. Girish Katti, Principal NDC, with Dr. Vijayachandra, Dean NMC as guest of honour.
The webinar timed from 9:30 am to 1 pm with guest speaker Dr. N.R. Shankar from CHASE Research & Development solution, Chennai. The organizing committee for the morning were Dr. Suresh Babu, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Swapna Ediga, who collectively received an entry of 139 participants from NDC and sister institutions of Navodaya Educational Trust. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Girish Katti, Principal NDC, which was followed by a welcome speech by Registrar, NET, Dr. T. Srinivas.
The webinar started from the background of what really Research Grant and Research publication is and aimed to fill in the PGs and Faculties about the same. The concerned speaker for the program, Dr. N.R. Shankar, briefed on writing grants and types of Researches to apply for grants and research collaborations.
