WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY 2024
“A HAPPY MOUTH IS ..A HAPPY BODY”Theme focus on the link between oral health and the general health and offers a simple yet powerful way to capture the multifaceted nature of oral health in a concise and relatable manner.Oral diseases are a major health concern for many countries and negatively impact people throughout their lives. Oral diseases lead to pain and discomfort, social isolation and loss of self-confidence, and they are often linked to other serious health issues. And yet, there is no reason to suffer: most oral health conditions are largely preventable and can be treated in their early stages. World Oral Health Day is an initiative of FDI World Dental Federation; an organization that brings together the world of dentistry with the aim of achieving optimal oral health for everyone. World Oral Health Day  is celebrated every year on 20th March.
Department of PUBLIC HEALTH DENTISTRY, NAVODAYA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL RAICHUR is celebrating the WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY 2024 by organizing a month long free dental treatment camp (20/03/2024 to 10/04/2024) and oral health promotion programme in the various urban and rural areas of Raichur.
World oral health day celebration 2024 inauguration programme along with  march past and flag hosting ceremony was celebrated in the agriculture university, Raichur  . A series of oral screening camps were conducted in public places and various organizations. Moreover oral health awareness was given through reels in social media as well as performing skit in public places.
