Navodaya dental college and hospital in association with Netaji Nagar police station, Raichur conducted CDE program on International day against drug abuse and illicit  trafficking under the banner of Nasha mukt abhiyaan with the theme “ The evidence is clear , invest in prevention” on 26^th June 2024 in AV hall 1 of Navodaya central libarary.

The event commenced with Dr. Girish Katti, principal by welcoming the guest speakers smt. Laxmi, PSI, Netaji police unit Raichur and Gouse Pasha, Head constable, Netaji police unit Raichur and addressed the gathering about the importance of creating awareness on the topic of drug abuse.

The guest speakers along with Dr. Girish katti, principal inaugurated the event by watering the plant. Later the guest speakers addressed the gathering as giving informative insights on topics such as drug trafficking and drug abuse and also motivated the students to not fall into such ill addictions.

The guest lecture was followed with the pledge taking ceremony, against drug abuse carried by Dr. Girish Katti, Principal and the event concluded with Dr. Vanishree M, Prof and Head of the Department,Oral Pathology, by delivering the vote of thanks.
