The Camp was conducted on 22/05/24 at Commercial Tax Office, Raichur, Organized by Employee Union of CTO. The camp was headed by Dr.Suresh Babu AM Prof and Head, Dept. of Public Health Dentistry.  Dr. Zaheer Ahmed, Professor and Dr Somanath Reddy,Reader were also present for the event along with 06 interns. The program started at 11.30 am with an inauguration by lamp lighting. The chief guest for the event was Mr.Chandrashekar, Deputy Commissioner C.T.O. He spoke about the importance of maintain good oral hygiene.Dr.Suresh Babu A M spoke about ill-effects of tobacco and importance of early dental treatment. After giving Oral Health education and awareness about tobacco cessation, oral cancer screening camp was donefor the employees.A total of 35 patients were screened and 32 patients were referred to Navodaya Dental College for further treatment. The program was concluded at 2.30 pm.
